The day began with capturing moments of Kayla and her bridesmaids preparing for the wedding, including candid shots, a heartfelt first look with her father, and capturing Kayla's bridal portraits. Following these moments, an intimate Catholic ceremony was held, where Ricky and Kayla exchanged their vows in the presence of their closest family and friends.
The Ceremony: St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Norwalk, OH
On a sunny August day, we then visited Ricky's parents' house to capture a series of memorable moments. Among these were family portraits, snapshots of the bridal party, and intimate portraits of Kayla and Ricky. To add an extra touch of sentimentality, Kayla surprised Ricky by having Ricky's grandpa's old truck back a long lane, a vehicle they used to cruise around in during their younger days. We then captured portraits around the truck before heading to the reception.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued in Kayla's parents' backyard, which had been transformed into a picturesque setting for their reception party. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed, reflecting Kayla's dedication and love poured into creating a memorable experience for their special day. As the evening progressed, speeches were given, toasts were raised, and laughter echoed under the summer sky.
